Recording and composition happen in the browser. Pling does not run a cloud recording bot or keep a copy of the file.

Can I record other people?
Yes. Invite up to seven other people and Pling will compose the room into one video. You must confirm consent before starting, and everyone sees who is recording.
Can I change the layout during a recording?
Yes. Open the recording timer to preview the live canvas and switch between screen focus, split view, and camera focus without stopping.
Where does the recording go?
The WebM is written or downloaded locally by your browser. Pling does not upload or store the recording on its servers.
Is Pling recording free?
Yes. Local recording is included with Pling and does not require an account, subscription, or software installation.
